Place your cursor between the "n" and the ">" in the <s:Button> tag and press the spacebar. That will give you code complete and you can select "click", which will give you the "Generate Click Handler" option.
In general, you can click inside a tag and press ctrl+spacebar (or cmd+spacebar on mac, i think) to get the code lookup to appear.
I appricate your replay, but I did try that.. and although the code
complete comes up for attributes for the <s:Button>.. (ie "click") even highlighting the click will not generate the Code Compeation for Generating a Handler event (or hitting enter, the space bar, etc..)
Mark - so you see click in the drop down and you select it so that your code now says:
<s:Button click="" />
and the code lookup now shows "Generate Click Handler" between the click double quotes?
What happens if you place your cursor between the double quotes in the click event and type ctrl+spacebar?
Can you share a screenshot of what's happening?
Thanks.. but must be a windows issue.. as when I rebooted my pc.. works fine again..noticed this once before.. not sure why it stopped working but it is working again.
BTW a screenshot would have just shown notings.. as the modal window wouldn't show
up.. but no error messages, etc
