Hardware check for PProCS4/AVCHD editing before I order

I've gotten a lot of great of info from these forums. I wanted to get a little more info if I could. I have put together the following configuration for doing editing with AVCHD footage shot on a Canon HF20. I am currently using PPro CS4 to edit and encode FLV and F4V files for web and CD use, but we are interested in getting into simple DVD production. I want to make sure we're getting the right equipment for the job, that I have enough "room to grow" if my projects get bigger/more complex, and that this setup will have some longevity (3-5 years). I have to justify cost and equipment to management (the whole ROI thing), so any help I can get would be great.

In addition to these, I already have an external LaCie d2 Quadra 1TB drive (using the eSATA connection) and two internal DVD-R drives that I'll be taking form my old system. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm putting together my request and will use any information you all can provide. Thanks again!
