I have a problem with a tree control clearing itself upon the 'restore' of the window the (AIR) app is running in. It only happens the very first time you restore do it, but it is an annoyance and I'm trying to solve the problem. I think it has to do with the fact that when the window is restored, there is a moment where the view has not resized yet and the tree is 'off screen' until the view is resized. Once it is done sizing it seems like the data is still there, but the tree is gone.
If there was a way to refresh the tree data after the nativeWindow resize, I'd try that but I'm not sure of the order of events on a nativeWindow.restore (). I'm new at the Flex Tree thing, so I guess I'm saying I don't know what I don't know.
I'd appreciate any input, Thanks in advance.
Hi, I checked again after your response and. It was the tree's data that was gone. Actually it was the tree's parent container being re-instantiated which wiped out it's dataProvider's data. I tracked it down, and fixed it.
