We plan to make use of the rich text editor in flex. However we have the requirement that we need to have the spellcheck and dictionary capability inside of it.
Does anyone know whether its able to customize the rte to get this in?
I've found something at http://www.flextendibles.com/ but am not to use it properly. I've mailed the concerned person. Hope he'll get back. Anywayz if anyone else has any idea please do post it.
I'm facing another problem now. I want to remove the B, U and I controls from my RTE controls. I'm using the following code but it throws this exception:
ArgumentError: Error #2025: The supplied DisplayObject must be a child of the caller.

Anyone know what this could be. I'm able to remove the other controls like the colorpicker etc..
Continuing with my edits
Problem for removing the buttons got solved. There's a visible property for each which we can set to false.
As easy as that
