I have some data visualitations of statistics, which look pretty cool and which I thought could be nice to display in a browser with SVG. The Illustrator SVG export is there, ok. But I guess that for any action (mouse-over effect, click-and-do-something) it needs programming from my side. Or are there any plugins available which do or prepare for this?
Thanks for any hints!
Well, AI has the SVG Interactions panel... But that would require you to properly work with variables all the way. That aside, the level of graphical fancy one can achieve that way is severely limited and it realyl isn't menat for that. I suggest you look elsewhere and eitehr learn Flash the proper way or as minimum Flash Catalyst, which is in public Beta on the Adobe Labs pages.
To add one thought: SVG is not that grand, anyway. Different browsers will render it differently to begin with, so designs will never be consistent.
