Hmm, I use that successfully.
I am not listening in the item renderer class, though, rather I listen further up the chain (this event bubbles).
See if you can catch the event somewhere else.
I have try to catch this event in my main class (and not in my ItemRenderer) and it doesn't work... I develop on Linux, maybe the problem come from the flash player for Linux? I know that there are some troubles with this player, in particular with text handling...
I tried to use TextArea as ItemRenderer in place of Text component, and in this case, htmlText and <a> tag works! Unfortunately, I have others troubles for dynamically resize (for the height) the TextArea according to his content, in order to not have scrollbar and to see all text.
Anybody have another suggestion or idea ?
Hold, on, your listener IS in your itemRenderer. I am confused about what you are saying.
Does Text dispatch the event? See if you can catch the event somewhere else, like at the Application level.
I never can catch this event.
I realised it's a bug into flash player for Linux.
Hey, you have to set the selectable-Property to true, otherwise the link-Event will not work.
