I'm about to write my first AIR application, which is a port of a browser based app to air. I need to use flash player 10.1, because of its global error handler feature. Is this possible in AIR? Is there a way to target a specific player, or does the AIR runtime include its own player ?
AIR 2 includes Flash Player 10.1, so you'd probably want to require AIR 2. Note that AIR 2 and FP 10.1 are currently in beta.
Thanx for the quick reply. However, I would still like to how the player is bound to an AIR application, how AIR upgrades the player version when necessary etc. Where can I read about the runtime architecture?
The Flash player version is updated when there is a new AIR
