    Rounded edges

      Hi there

       

       

      i am trying to round offthe corners of a placed picture. i have tried the rounded corners tool but no joy.

       

      is there a simple way of doing this if so please let me know

          You need clipping masks. Draw another rectangle, apply the round corners effect to it, then select it along with your image, right-click and choose create clipping path.

            just the job.

             

            I have another problem which i will post in the forum but basically its this.

             

            i have drawn some lettering with the pen and want to put it over an image. The thing is that i want to be able to see the image through the holes ie through letters B and O etc. would i need to redo this using a transparent canvas or is there a way cut out the Holes. I have tried cutting but it just fills in with the colour of the letter.
