Captiv8r Dec 21, 2009 11:28 AM (in response to markerline)Hi there
Well, that's the issue in a nutshell. The content doesn't seem to want to embed. I did discover an article via Google that purported to show you how it's done, but it failed to work for me. So I was hopeful someone here would have traversed that path before and offer insights.
Cheers... Rick

markerline Dec 21, 2009 11:57 AM (in response to Captiv8r)I have figured out how to use Object in Word to embed the SWF file and use the Control Box to activate it, however, like you when I convert to Acrobat PDF from the Word Add-in it does not embed the SWF in a playable format, although the object is there. I can't seem to get any relevant properties using the Touch Up Object tool either. I hope someone else has a clue. Otherwise I recommend creating your word document with "empty" text boxes that the text will wrap around and then converting to PDF and once in Acrobat embed a Flash object using the Multimedia button.

Even though my badge says "Community Expert", note that I'm an Acrobat neophyte.
So one is able to modify an Acrobat PDF after it is a PDF? I was unaware that capability existed!
Thanks... Rick

markerline Dec 21, 2009 12:12 PM (in response to Captiv8r)There are lots of Advanced editing tools available to customize the PDF, including adding password and/or certificate security so only a select person or persons can view/print/edit your document.
