Is the parent chart a CartesianChart instead of a plain BarChart? Do you have GridLines specified as backgroundElements? I've had the same issue, and these were the cause.
The chart is just a BarChart, child of a Canvas. No backgroundElement is specified. Changing the BarChart to ColumnChart removes the blue line. The line only shows when the dataProvider array is not empty, and only on the first column of the chart.
(I work w/cputnam14).
try setting the opaqueBackground of the ColumnSeries/BarSeries.
Setting the opaquebackground color on the series worked. Thanks!
I have the same issue, but this time when I have a y axis that is a category axis and an x axis that is just a linear axis. The first category on the Y always has a thin blue line through the middle, see screen capture below.
I can get rid of it by setting the alpha property of grid lines to 0, but of course that removes all the gridlines too, which is not what I want.
I tried the opaqueBackground too, but that seems to cover up the gridlines as well. Any further help would greatly be appreciated.
