I have completed a few premiere elements 8 projects and would I like to know how to delete old project folders.
I have no further use for the projects and I have archived them if I need to return to them later.
It is just that when I open organizer I am faced with a long list of projects folders and would like to see current projects only appear on screen.
I have read the manual and checked out the what others have to say but I am still none the wiser.
Can anyone please suggest a method of housekeeping that keeps my premier elements 8 organiser free of unnecessary project folders (those ones I no longer what to use) being listed on the organizer panel.
Going forward, when you start a new project, create a folder at the very beginning when you are selecting presets. That way, any footage your capture, as well as all files from the project will go into this folder. PE will create its own sub-folders within this new folder you created. Upon completion and back-up of your project, you can sinply delete the new folder you originally created, and everything goes bye-bye. Hope this helps.
Happy Holidays! Stan
Thanks Stan, I will let you know how I go.
All the best for the new year.
