I just purchased a book from www.ebooks.com.

Then I installed Adobe Digital Editions on my Mac and authorized the computer.

I then downloaded a .acsm file from ebooks.com and when I try to open it with Digital Editions I get this error:

Error getting license

License server communication problem: E_LIC_NO_DISTRIBUTION_RIGHTS

Please help, I am new to this.

I need the book urgently and would really appreciate any info on this error message I am receiving.

Is the problem on my end, or on the book shop's end?

This is a configuration issue on the eBooks.com server, you will need to bring this to their attention.
