hi. it's a java based project.
I furnish the following details assuming you are creating a Flex project with blazeds deployed on JBOSS.
a) Install JBOSS 5.1and BlazeDS turnkey blazeds-turnkey-188.8.131.5220.zip from
On extracting the turnkey zip you obtain samples.war,blazeds.war and ds-console.war.
b) Extract the samples.war as a folder using Java xvf, which should create a folder named 'samples.war'.
c) Copy this folder under JBOSS\server\default\deploy.
d) Start the server.
e) Launch FB and provide the following details in the project creation wizard:
Application Server Type : J2EE
Select 'Use remote object access service' and select 'BlazeDS'
Root Folder: C:\JBOSS\jboss-5.1.0.CR1\server\default\deploy\samples.war (subject to JBOSS installation)
Root URL: http://localhost:8080/samples/
Context Root: /samples
Click on 'Validate Configuration', you should now see message 'The web root folder and root URL are valid'.
Hope this helps
Please mail me to balajs at adobe .com in case you face any problems.
Are you sure Jboss is listening on port 8080? 'telnet localhost 80' from a command line should let you know.
