    wierd jpeg behavior

      AE CS3:

composition is set to 1920x1080, 23.97p. I brought in a JPEG with the same deminsions, but it repeats wierd. In the first frame the jpeg takes up the full frame like I would think. The second frame however, the jpeg is only in the top right quarter. Then it repeats this pattern again and again.

I found a workaround by bringing the JPEG into Photoshop and saving it as a PSD and then bringing that into AE. Still, I was wondering if there is something I am missing?

      thanks

This seems like display buffer corruption which may be caused by interference in hardware acceleration. If you're on Vista or Windows 7, tweaking your graphics card settings may help as may turning off features for Aero and otehr visual fancy. From the AE end, of course you can always turn off OpenGL.
