Exporting from After Effects to PP CS4

I imported a video to AE and added my ellipse effects to some adjustment layers. I then exported to PP and saved the file to my desktop. When I went to open the edited video in PP and the following message read:

      /Users/**name**/Desktop/highlight with effect.prproj

      Video Filter missing:  AE.ADBE ELLIPSE

I am pretty sure I understand what the message is saying, but I have no idea how to fix it or how to go about it. This is not a file I don't want to be able to lose, spent a good amount of time working on it.

That msg indicates to me that you copied the ai comp to a timeline in Pr; and Pr doesnt have the filter you used in Ae.

Instead; I suggest you use dynamic link and forgo the need for any copy/pasting or exporting.

To start over; select the clip in question on the Pr timeline, right click and choose Replace with AE Comp.

Add the effects in AE, save and close.  Switchback to Pr, and the clip will now be am AE Comp Dynalically linked to Pr.
