i have this strange doubt in mind!! should a flex developer need to learn flash cs4 to make rich content on web?? for more enhanced animations, flex is just not enough??
how hard will be journey for a developer who knows only oops concepts, java, flex to get into flash, i see many blogs on adobe, RIA's, many people have both flash and flex going right!! so how is it possible? Is it worth learning flash timeline, animations also?
i've been learning flex and actionscript, i think you people can clarify my question,
For many animations, Flash is the way to go, and then use SWFLoader to bring it into a Flex app.
If you know OOP and Flex, learning Flash is just putting in the time to read a few books, view online tutorials, and practice, practice, practice.
If you are in the USA, Foothill College in California has a great online class on Flash:
The class was great when I took it, but unfortuntely the instructor died a few years back. Its a shame because he was a great instructor and a very nice guy.
