I would think you are lucky to have 10,12 and 14 all installed and working.
I don't have anything installed, just meant I have the discs to upgrade. I need to get the 8.0.1 on first.
It is not necessary to have the previous version actually installed first even though they are upgrades. Having the serial numbers are sufficient.
You can probably install 14 without installing 12 as well.
Hopefully you deactivated the 14 and 12 if you had them previously installed.
Unless you want to run it on both computers, keep in mind you will only be bae to run one at a tie if you do.
You do not have to install 8.0.1 in order to install 14.

You should be able to install the upgrades if only you have the licence key for 8: the upgrades are full versions, only at a discount price.
Edit: Late in posting.
And you should be able to have the different versions installed at the same time.
It may be possible to put the operating system in the mode corresponding to an earlier version; I believe XP is old enough for 8, so you can do some lean work.
I thought the 8 had to be installed first, I'll try 14 by itself.
Thanks for the help! I thought I had to install all 4 in their order to make it work. I put in the 14 upgrade and it then it asked for the 12 serial # and worked like a charm.
