Not from personal experience, but from what other users have reported on other forums: All of the older apps will cause one problem or the other. They simply come from a time, when Vista or Win 7 weren't around. Most commonly you will simply have to run them as admin all the time to circumvent security issues, other users report problems with file dialogs never appearing or causing crashes. For Premiere and Audition it is also simply possible you get no audio at all, because they cannot access the driver and you may also get into trouble with specific stuff for capture or MPEG encoding due to the CoDecs never correctly serializing. AE CS4 should be perfectly safe, on the otehr hand.
Progress is very expensive it seems!!
In my experience Premiere Pro CS2 would not even start under Vista 64, so PP 1.5 is likely not to work either.
I can confirm AE CS4 and Photoshop CS3 (don't know about CS2) work perfectly.
I can confirm that AE CS4 is working for me on Vista 64 bit as well. The only issue I'm having is if the AJA preview is running, I can't get real-time previews, but I suspecte that's an AJA issue.
I had a reply via another app forum (ZBrush) which said that Quicktime had some issues in 64 bit, specifically that the time slider was missing.
Anyone else experienced this?
