Im getting a wierd issue. I got a microsoft comfort optical mouse 3000. Drivers are updated for win7.
Issue is when using AE when I go to use the scroll wheel it only shrinks my preview screen. From fit all the way down to 1.5% . Doesnt matter if I scroll up or down.
I know that the scroll is hard coded into AE so the problem must be with the mouse, or compatibility with win7. I would change options around, just not sure what to change it too.
Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.
Try to adjust the mouse sensitivity in your mouse system control panel. That would also be the palce to turn off the scroll wheel, if everything else doesn't work. My guess is that the mouse is a bit über-sensitive and AE doesn't compensate.
Yep, same problem here with a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 on Win 7 and CS4. Everything works fine with a Logitech mouse.
Found a solution - albeit a strange and rather inelegant one. In Intellipoint, change your mouse type to basic optical. As far as I can tell I haven't lost any functionality with any of the other buttons and the scroll works as expected.
