I need to cut out a person from a 10 second footage. Sorry, I can't remember the exact term for this. He is approaching from a side on a "busy" background and his size is about 3/4 of the footage height when he is nearest to the camera. I know that I will need to use rotoscoping coupled with a good track, but I'm not really good at it. Can someone point me to a good video tutorial that can explain that? (Possibly with the use of the Mocha).
See the Pete O'Connell tutorials linked to from the "Rotoscoping introduction and resources" page. The other items on that page are useful, too, but Pete does an especially good job with the basics of using motion tracking to make rotoscoping easier.
