File > Export > Release Build...
Creating a bin_releaseX directory, FTP all of the contents of that new release directory to your webserver, and let'er rip!
At least that is how I have done it so far, and so far everything is working as planned. I am sure there is a more process oriented methodology, but like I said it has worked for me using those quick and easy steps.
I have uploaded my project the problem that I have is with the Database. The application doesn't connect to the database at all.
Any idea why this could be?

You might need to set the --use-network=true compiler option.
Project - Properties - Flex Compiler
add --use-network=true to the "Additional compiler arguments:" section.

Thanks for replying.
I have tried to release it with to --use-network=true but still it doesn't connect with the db.
I have been trying now for 24 hours and I can't get it to work...
What happens when you try to troubleshoot on both the server and the client side? Is the database call being made? Is the server receiving the call? At what point is execution failing?
It doesn't call the DB. The application first module is a login function and there are not error messages when you input the wrong username or passworld.
I Finally manage!!
it was just the sql setting ports!!
