What you describe seems more an issue with yours or your clients comp than the flash, it loads and plays fine for me on several machines, several browsers, and several OS'.
What is most likely happening from your description is the browser either needs plug ins, or you need to upgrade to a newer version of flash player. It could also be connection speed of the machines, doubtful, the flash is not that big, but still possible.
Does the content ever load and actually play on the machines that have the little red x in the corner?
Try updating your OS', browser, and flash player to the newest version.
Thanks for getting back to me.
Funny when viewing in Firefox and Safari is loads fine, just a blank area then the flash content appears.
In IE is where it does what I mention, this only a concern as most still use IE to view web content.
Hmm will have a look for a Flash update for IE and see if that does anything.
Like I said I just didn't know 'if' I was doing something wrong or could add something to get over this.
Thank you for checking on all your systems it encouraging that it works fine outside my computers.
I have a fairly fast connection, so if you continue to have probs after updates, you may want to consider a pre-loader for you flash mov.
Hmmm you know that just crossed my mind.
If a preloader is available to use with 'any' Flash movie, where do I get it and, here go's, is it complicated to apply to my Flash?
Simply search "flash preloader" in a search engine. There are thousands.
Yep, see what you mean. Thanks again for checking
