I've developed a web application for users to enter information collected from field. I've aprox. 20 users. I've a basic LAMP setup based on UBUNTU 9.10. I'm using AMFPHP 1.9b2 for remoting my php functions to insert my records to database. Every user has their own user account but it's just for authentication. So I'm having some trouble while they're all online and want to save their records simultaneously. Some of their records have not saved in database.
Is there any specific methodology that i should follow or any kind of service/server kind software (preferably open-source ones) ?
Thanks in advance.
You need to lock the records.
I use ColdFusion and use CFLOCK, Im not that familiar with PHP but I think there should be something similar.
Thanks for advice (that would be useful following parts in future) but my users are not working on same rows in databases. They are just inserting individual rows just in same table only. I think there is a trouble about how server side handles connections. Or maybe the technique (AMFPHP) is not suitable for it. For that reason i am asking for another methods.
