I'm using the Flex SDK (the non-open source version 3.3) to compile an mxml file that has pie charts and other such graphics in them; every time that I attempt to compile I get these errors:
\flexviewer\widgets\ChartWidget.mxml(262): Error: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: SeriesSlide
\flexviewer\widgets\ChartWidget.mxml(282): Error: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: PieChart
Granted, I'm not using the mxmlc directly; I'm actually using the ant flex tasks in order to compiles these mxmls, but I get the same error even when I attempt to do this directly with the compiler. I'm just wondering what source paths or files am I missing that I cannot compile anything that has a PieChart in it? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have answered my own question it seems by searching the forum...
For those interested you have to download what you need separate from the SDK and install it.
