If the hyperlinks in your ID document are typed out URLs, then Acrobat is automatically converting them to links.
So, if I type:
in my ID document and export to PDF, Acrobat will read that and create the web link.
Hi, and thanks for you reply, but I'm talking of a hyperlink on a word as in a href type link, so the word apple has the link http://www.apple.com applied to it, but although it is a link in the PDF the indesign has a red circle with a question mark in it, its almost as if its lost the link to edit, but is still in the background?
Has anyone else seen this behaviour in indesign?
Is it using a shared link from a different doc?
It could be, they have been split up from the original indesign file, if I recombine them will it pick up the links?
I don't remember, but there's a good chance that yes.
Why don't you ask in the General InDesign forum? You'll probably get more responses there.
Thank you very much Harbs! will do!
