Questions about Dreamweaver and it's built in FTP...

    Level 7
I'm trying to upload some files in Dreamweaver to my server by using it's
built in FTP. How do I upload them in binary mode. I'm not to familiar
      with the Dreamweaver FTP setup.

DW has a configuration file called FTPExtensionMap.txt which is located

          in:

          C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX\Configuration

          and

          C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX\Configuration

or whatever the Mac equivalent is. (I believe that the one in Program

Files is a template, and the one in Documents and Settings controls.)

This file contains a list of file extensions, and either ASCII or

BINARY. Open the file - its function should be fairly obvious. It

has most file types you need; if there's one you're using which is not

listed, you can go ahead and add it.
