If the uploaded video is too large, YouTube will automatically re-encode the video to a more reasonable file size. If your viewer has a slower Internet connection he can always view the SD version, that YouTube also creates automatically.

I did not know that YouTube would automatically create an option to watch an HD video id SD video. Is there documentation about that somewhere online?
What if I emebed an HD video on my website, will YouTube provide me with two links, so I could embed both the HD version and the SD version on my website?
Let's say I want to wath this video in SD: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BOhDaJH0m4
Where would I click on the YouTube site to do this?
By default, videos are viewed in SD. (This can be be changed in your Account Settings.) But by clicking the HD button on the lower right hand side of the player you are able to view the actual High-Def versions.
