EckleySP Jan 25, 2010 7:40 PM (in response to EckleySP)I was able to open the self created backups the Premiere Pro makes. . . I had this issue with one of the back up files, but that was almost a week ago - no problems since. . .
I'll check the moon phases next time.

3. Re: After Update, Can't Open a Project
Colin Brougham Jan 25, 2010 7:44 PM (in response to EckleySP)There's a bug in Premiere that causes a project to hang when attempting to open it if the Multicamera monitor was left open at the last save of the project, and then the program was closed. The solution is to import your "hanging" project into a new project, and then remember to close the MC monitor before you save and exit the program. It's a pretty annoying gotcha...

Bill Hunt Jan 26, 2010 8:31 AM (in response to Colin Brougham)Colin,
Good tip on Multi-camera. I had not run across that before. Now to imprint that into my mind, and remember to ask if a user is using Multi-camera.
Thanks,
Hunt

Bill Hunt Jan 26, 2010 10:16 AM (in response to Colin Brougham)Ah, those "special features!" Good to know though. I see that it also pays to ask a poster which version they have, prior to throwing that out as a possible fix.
Appreciated,
Hunt
