Applying a specific crossfade across duplicated clips

I think I'm probably missing something but I've reviewed the manual and can't find it.

I have done a crossfade between two clips (which are actually the same clip/file) I have duplicated this clip 30 times and need to apply this same crossfade at the exact same locations each time the two clips meet, is their anyway to do this without dragging the clip edges 30 times?  I can manually apply the crossfade 30 times but that seems a bit of a PITA, maybe I'm just being lazy.

I'd appreciate any tips of suggestions, thanks.

You can't do this automatically, but you can speed the process up somewhat if all of the clips are in a sequence. You'll have to work out the precise details, but just do the crossfade between, say, 4 of them, and make a unique copy of this selection. If you paste this unique copy into the track as many times as you want it, you won't have to make anything like as many individual crossfades at all, because you'll only be doing an additional crossfade every 4 repeats.

The ultimate extension of this is to join up half of the grouped groups, and paste that again - cuts down even more on the number you need to do.
