Will someone help me build a template please?

    Ravena
      Hello forum members,

It's been years since I build my 2nd website and now I need to do some serious revamping. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to help me build a simple template, please? I've searched the web for free templates but none really appeal to me.

I don't need anything fancy, I just want a drop-down menu bar below my title and an opt-in email box on one side of the screen.

I'm a very nice person to work with, a dedicated hard worker, a quick learner, and I do have a little bit of web building experience when I built my own site using Dreamweaver 4. I have Dreamweaver MX now and it has lots of new things on it that I'm not familiar with. I can't afford to pay someone to build or revamp the site for me and I really need to get this business off the ground.

I spent the last full year writing a book, and I'm putting it into ebook format right now to sell on my site. I would be MORE than willing to give you a copy in compensation for help.

I signed up for a build an ebusiness in 28 days challenge and learned a tremendous amount, but I like using Dreamweaver better, it gives me more freedom and flexibility. And this company charges $47/mo for keeping my site on their server, which is more than I can afford to pay right now. The template I used to create the new site in that challenge doesn't transfer over, so all I can use is the salescopy information I worked on.

That site is too commercial for me and my old site is too much like a portfolio, so I'm looking for a happy medium that resonates my essence and still keeps visitors interested and hopefully sales!

Feel free to view both sites to see where I'm at.

old site built using Dreamweaver that I want to revamp with new template and colors: http://loves-angel.com
new site that is one long salescopy: http://nancyauthor.com
I like this woman's site layout and colors, although I might use blue: http://lenair.com/articles.shtml

Sorry this post is so long, but I wanted to explain fully in order to attract a person who is seriously willing to help me. I can't imagine that it would take that much time.

      Thanks so much,
      Nancy
