I have a class that contains some public static vars. (e.g. public static var meow:String="Test";).
1. How do I reference that in another class.
2. How do I make that bindable.
What I used as failed was placing [Bindable] in front of it and in front of the class var defined in the other class:
[Bindable] private var test:MyClass=new MyClass();
trace(test.meow); doesn't work.
when we acess a static variable it call through class name.
the acess form in your case is MyClass.meow;
i hopes this will help u.
Hm, so you mean if I want to use the static variable in another class than the parent one I do this:
I don't need to instantiate a variable as belonging to that class?
