i'm trying to get into the support portal to apply for a serial key for my student edition
2: i then click the link "Adobe customer support portal"
and all i get is a page that loads saying "Site area temporarily unavailable"
i have had this problem for about a day now
why is it unavailable and when will it be back up?
im having the exact same problem, how do i claim a serial number without the customer service portal?
The way it worked for me was:
1. I created an account with Adobe.com (email & password)
2. I purchased from the educational store
3. I uploaded a copy of my student ID
4. Adobe sent me my key code - as you don't get the key until you have proved your academic status
5. Then you get your keys, etc. merely by logging back into your account with http://www.adobe.com
