There have been a lot of similar instances, involving Matrox equipped machines. Do you have the very latest Matrox drivers? About the release of CS4.2, Matrox was working on new drivers, and in that process, their beta drivers seemed to help people. They should have full release drivers by now.

I wasn't aware of the new Matrox drivers but have now downloaded them.
I haven't yet redone these files for the person I was talking about, since I got the new Matrox drivers but I really hope doing so will fix this.
If not...I'm totally lost here so any further advice would be great!
