    spacing question and min-width

    Level 7
Hi - can anyone tell me what is causing the big space between the red
heading text and the copy? I have tried zeroing out all the margins and
padding but must be still doing something wrong.

      http://www.ambionse.co.nz/2007/index_test1.php

Also the navigation mid right - home/about/contact - how can I stop it
collapsing when you drag the browser window smaller? I want it flexible so
am trying to avoid a fixed width, but when i try min width on it I can't get
it to work. I have also tried min-width on the whole navbar and the whole
main table, but still did not get it to work.

This was my last table based site - I want to redo it with css now I have
moved along with my skills, but for now it has to work and be live in the
next week, as it is.. Any help appreciated!

      Thanks,

      Karen

          Hey,

Try adding margin-top 0px; or whatever to #mainContent p and for the
other issue try adding white-space: nowrap; to #midnav

          HTH

hey Sinclair - here you are to save me again :-) Are we in the same time
zone or do you just stay awake late?

Spacing thing is sorted, I knew it would be something easy staring me in the
            face. (again)

added the whitespace bit - but no joy there. I have no idea what it even
means, so something else to learn........ Thanks for looking, I'm off to a
meeting with Santa, so away for a couple of hours:-)

            Cheers,

            Karen

Oh - it worked in FF - try adding it to #benefitTable h1 and see if that
              doesn't do it.

I burn the candle at both ends on the other side of the world to you -
give Santa my best regards ;-)

Sinclair - that worked for all browsers I have looked in so far FF IE7
Opera - thanks again man on the other side of the world. Well of course I'm
                just assuming you're a man....
