Editing a form that has been distributed

Hi

I've been asked to correct a spelling mistake in a form.

The form has already been published, is hosted on our website and has been filled in and returned by some users.

Can I edit the form and re-publish it without effecting the data we have already got back.

I'm a bit wary of making changes if it means collecting the data will get complicated.

Any help appreciated this is quite urgent.

Yes, as long as you don't alter the data structure of the form.

If the form has a submit button (and it sounds like it does) and it was rendered using LiveCycle Forms then you will have to re-render it.  If it was just saved from the Designer as a PDF and the submit button URL is hard coded then your should be fine.
