When I use the FLV | F4V format and select F4V (same as source) and I'm NOT resizing the video, it shows the resolution as 656x480 instead of the 720x480 resolution of the original AVI. If I use FLV instead of F4V it comes out 655x480 and if I go out and select the H.264 format, it keeps it at 720x480. Why the hell is it resizing the video for flash?
If it's because my DV source has non square pixels then why is it the H.264 format keeps the aspect ratio but the F4V H.264 version does not? Although I'm pretty sure NTSC DV video is square pixels no?
Start reading on PAR (pixel aspect ratio) on the help file or manual. And no, DV NTSC is NOT square pixel. So start reading.
