    centering page

    silo~ Level 1
      I know, probably a stupid question, but bear with me, I'm a newb.

      I can't seem to figure out how to get my content (all content) to center on my page. It stays default left no matter how many times I try and change preferences.

      Can anyone help?
      Thanks in advance.

          Put all your page content in a containing div (let's say with an id of
          #wrapper).

          Then in your CSS you have:

          body {
          text-align: center;
          /*...other rules... */
          }

          and

          #wrapper {
          width: 780px;
          margin: 0 auto;
          }

          Make the width of the wrapper whatever you want.
