Hey there guys, this might be a super easy fix. I may just be wording it wrong.....
I'm building a web site and I have a flash logo on the side that I don't want reloading when a user clicks on the links.
So what I wanna do is get it so that when they click a link the content will only load in a designated table located in the center of the page, leaving the flash logo/sides of the page in tact during the load. I've seen this before, but can't seem to find an example anywhere...... is it possible to do in dreamweaver?
Let me know if I'm not being clear enough.....
google for 'iframe'
Basically you insert the 'iframe' in the table cell and then link all your pages so they come into the 'iframe'. It's not a pretty method and creates a scroll bar but it's simple. Other methods would require you have knowledge of server coding such as asp, php, cold fusion.
my proposal in fact it is found on a German website, but I think it is still very helpful to your problem. Look here:
