    Increasing the height of a SWF during run time

    LaVengeance

      Hey there,

      I'm trying to increase the size of an application during run time.

      Basically, on the click of a button I want the height of the application to increase.

      I'm trying to do this using the ExternalInterface class and calling the javascript in the HTML wrapper. The javascript is being called, but the height of the SWF is not being changed.

      The HTML goes something like this:

      <html>

           <script type="text/javascript">

      function resizeContainer(){

          var app1 = document.getElementById("app");
          var app1.height = "600";
      }

      </script>
      <object width="900" height="160" id="app" name="app">
      <param name="movie" value="App.swf">
      <embed src="App.swf" width="465" height="150">
      </embed>
      </object>
      </body>
      </html>

      This doesn't seem to work. Am I missing something here ?

      Also, any ideas on how to increase the height by sliding the top edge upwards, the default is a downward slide.

      help much appreciated...
