    SWFOBJECT insertion problem (Javascript related)

    914_6

Hi to all, done some researches, to no satisfying results so here i am.

I am using SWFOBJECT to insert SWF into XHTML 1.0 Strict pages. I am using these lines into my pages headers to do so:

      <script type="text/javascript" src="../../../scripts/swfobject.js"></script>
      <script type="text/javascript">swfobject.registerObject("V01", "9.0.0");</script>

Works fine and it validates XHTML 1.0 Strict, but...
my clients have requierements that insist on having ABSOLUTELY NO JAVASCRIPT into the headers, only codes
that targets some .js files OUTSIDE the document.

      My questions are as follow:

      1) <script type="text/javascript">swfobject.registerObject("V01", "9.0.0");</script>
Does the previous line is considered as pure Javascript
as opposed to a pure Javascript function?

      2) Is there a workaround? I mean, can i registered SWF files that are INTO

the actual page using an EXTERNAL .js file?

      Thanks to all.
