Hi I am relatively new to After Effects. I have a timeline with footage and I have applied the Bad TV2- old effect from Special Effects. After 2 seconds though, I would like to fade out the effect, and have the footage return to normal. But because the Bad TV2 effect is made up of 5 filters, is there a simpler way of doing it rather than adjusting all of the parameters in each of the filters? I've tried duplicating the footage and applying the effect to the top layer and then keyframing the opacity of the top layer, but doing this dilutes the effect of Bad TV2 effect. Is there a proper way of doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The easist way is to use an adjustment layer. Apply the effects and tehn keyframe the opacity of the adjustment layer to fade the effects.
exactly what i was after, thanks so much for your help
