Tried numerous times to contact support, but never get anywhere past an over lenghly hold time, which is hard to wait on hold for a long time with a toddler undertow
Anyway, I keep getting DRM activator errors and have noticed that https://aractivate.adobe.com/ is down and has been for at least a full 24 hours. I have some ebooks I loaned from my library that I can only have out for 14days and this time wasting away because of https://aractivate.adobe.com/ being down is frustrating! This is so annoying that some books simply will not work unless you open/place them in Adobe Digital Editions BEFORE moving them into your reader library software program
It isn't going to matter- seems no one at Adobe gives a rats behind about their own site being down (And why do they not have a mirror site for this?) ADE should not be the only software that I have to use to view DRM books before transferring them to my sony reader
As of March 30, 2009, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader 6 and 7 will no longer be able to perform new activations to use eBooks.
