I have a site in which I am utilizing a lot of dynamic text. I'd like a number of specific words to appear bolded (and ideally, with a tooltip when moused over, but perhaps that's pie in the sky) any time they appear. Because the text is dyamic, I can't go through manually and change the formatting. Is there any way to set a list of words (css or otherwise) to automatically format to bold? Any help would really be appreciated. I'm using DW CS4.
CSS is the most efficient way... there are several ways to skin the cat, but to get you started, here is
a link that may be useful: http://www.actionscript.org/forums/showthread.php3?t=158188
This example is based on action-scripting, but the premise is the same - you create a style in css, and assign it to a div, or block of text and anything that falls in those parameters will use the attributes assigned in the css...
Hope that helps - a google search yielded several other results, so if this doesn't work, you could try that as well...
Thanks a lot! I'll check them out.
