here's another question i've not been able to solve; once again hoping that an illustrator with a wizard hat can explain this one to me.
Here are two images.
The first is of a live traced image. The second is the same image after being expanded, red arrows point to obvious changes in the appearance which i am trying to deal with.

Why does expanding the pattern cause obvious divisions between areas of different colouration?
How do I remove this problem whilst still retaining the functionality of an expanded image?
Probably very simple but I havn't had any luck tinkering with it.
I think it is just a preview issue nothing more.
So I gather if taken to a print/export environment this antialiasing [ if that's what it is] would not be so obvious?
