    Flash player Activex installation required?

      Hi Guys,

I am new to flash, so needed some help.

I have an C++ application which runs the .swf file in a window.( using CAxWindow to create the window).

I also have the Flash player Activex installed on my machine. In this case the swf displays the images & text properly.

Problem: Now when I uninstalled the ActiveX flash player from my machine, & run the application, the images & text arent displayed, though I also have mozilla/opera flash plugin installed.

Now the question is: Will it be possible to create a different window type( instead of CAxWindows) to host the swf?

I understand that I will have to change the way I create the window( maybe using CWnd). Will this resolve the above problem?

      Thanks & Regards

      Shiraz
