    Problem with inheriting text color.

    Peter A. Forkes Level 1

      I am having a challenge with getting the logic behind what I presume is an inheritance issue on one of my web pages.

      On one of the web pages (<http://www.vegasfastads.com/features.html>) I have had to change the text color from white to black.

      On all of the pages on my site I have (at the top of every page) a piece of library code that has links to several of the main pages.

      On the page where I have changed the text to black (from white) despite many attempts to prevent it, the library links have black text on a black background and I want to the text in this library code to be white on black (just like all the other pages).

      It is probably easier to show you the pages:

      correct page (notice the color of the links along the top):

      http://www.vegasfastads.com/index.html

      problem page (notice the black text on a black background - I hope you can figure out where it is):

      http://www.vegasfastads.com/features.html

      Any help would be very much appreciated.

      Peter

          Give the library item <div> an 'id' of topNav like:

          <div id="topNav" align="center"><a href="index.html">Home</a> | etc etc etc

          Then add some css to your css stylesheet:

          #topNav a {

          color: #fff;

          }

          if you want a hover color on the links also:

          #topNav a:hover {

          color: #333;

          }

            Excellent!  Thank you...I'm one step closer to understanding this.
