    [CS4 JS] Copying table rows

    Andreas Jansson Level 2

Is there a good way to duplicate a row in a table a certain number of times?

Styles and XML markup and everything intact, just as if you select a row in the UI and use Copy / Paste...

I discovered that the row select/app.copy/app.paste approach I've used since CS2 (but always hated) no longer works when I temporarily turned up the scriptVersion to 6.0 (CS4).

I know that texts can be duplicated, and also that "row" is a valid reference for the duplicate destination, but there is no duplicate method on the row object... Is there a way to duplicate all texts from one row to a new (or empty just added) row to mimic the Copy Paste behaviour?

      Best regards,

      Andreas
