    Adobe DLM (damaged)

      Hi, I'm running XP .NetFramework 3.5 SP1

      Adobe Reader 9.3

      Adobe Shockwave Player 11.5

      Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin

Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X

      Adobe AIR

      Acrobat .com

      In %windir%downloaded progam files getting {E2883E8F-472F-4FB0-9522-AC9BF37916A7} damaged.http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt65/Ken_039/downloadedprgfiles.jpg

Right clicking gives three options Update,Remove and Properties. Updating corrects the damage by installing Download Manager(get_atlcom Class).

This also puts get_atlcom Class in the add-ons and puts getplus Helper in services.

After each log off program is re-damaged.My understanding is DLM is removed for security reason, the add-on and Helper in services removed also.I need information and recomendation on this issue, please. Similar HJT errors suggest this is fix.

I suggest that you post your screenshots directly here at the forum (using the camera icon above the posting area).  Your links only display small blurred images.

My apolgy for screenshots. Program {E2883E8F-472F-4FB0-9522-AC9BF37916A7} in downloaded program files status is damaged.

Right clicking gives options to Update,Remove, or Properties. After updating get_atlcom Class with Adobe Icon, status installed, replaces above damaged program. Download Manager opens.Close DLM.   After every log off reverts to damaged state.   The DLM total size (76)kb is being removed along with add-on and get_atlcom Helper (in services) which from my understanding should.  Two of the three files in dependency(properties) are also damaged:

            C:\WINDOWS\ DOWNLOADED...\GP.OCX* damaged(installed 73,728)bytes,C:\WINDOWS\DOWNLOADED...\GP.INF* damaged(installed4,096)bytes.

The C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ATL.DLL remains 61,440. Iexplorer seems slower, opening 2nd window and clicking links on web pages usually hangs.

Ah - that attachment is much more clear   For some reason this forum software does not render external images well.

What happens if you remove the damaged entries?  The DLM should not remain on the computer once a download is completed.  (I myself try to avoid the DLM and always download the install files directly, e.g. from the Adobe FTP site.)

Removed the damaged entrie (%windir%\downloaded program files) via the remove option on the entry: nothing unusual just the dialog box stating the file will permentally be removed. Adobe Reader working fine, will contact (if ok) anything on the contrary. The new window and link problem is iexplore issue.

Thank you for your valued time on this issue! Ken
