Are you trying to access PDF files through your browser? I just discovered that Internet Explorer 8 is not supported by Adobe Reader 9.3 or
that they just don't interface properly. See my post and reply, just a few down from yours...it might be helpful...

Reader 9.3 works perfectly fine in IE8.
If IE8 and Adobe Reader 9.3 work just fine together, then why does there seem to be so many posts
about problems? (Not just here, but on the web) I did not have a preinstalled PDF suite on my computer
and had no results at all with the IE8 and AR9.3 together. I unistalled 9.3 and installed Adobe Reader 8.2
and it was fine. Since doing that I did see a link about uninstalling IE 8 and then reinstalling it, to get it to
work with AR 9.3, but I am not going to put 9.3 back on my computer. I am not a tech, but I do no what
has worked for me..
cbuzz1-Thanks for responding. I have looked and have found so many options for Reader and PDF; can you give me a heads up on where you found Reader 8.2? Most sites want to update 8.2. Lesley
Hi, I actually found this link from Adobe, that has all versions, but the options vary depending on your OS.
I know if you select Windows XP SP3, XP SP2 or Vista, in the dropdown menu, the second choice is Adobe Reader 8.2.
Windows 7 only gives option for AR 9.3. I did not choose Google Toolbar option...Hope this helps.
