How do you set PE8 to de-interlace or reverse field dominance?

I was told that this could fix a problem I was having with shaky DVD playback.  And I saw on some posts that this worked for people, but I don't know how to do it.

As I explained in your other thread, you need to select the Hard Drive Camcorder project preset when you start a new project. This option is under the Settings button on the New Project option screen.

You can see how to select a project preset in part one of my Premiere Elements Basic Training tutorials at Muvipix.com.

If you'd rather not start a new project and your current project is set up for standard DV, you can manually change the field dominance -- but you'll have to manually do it for each clip on  your timeline. To do this, right-click on each clip on the timeline and select Field Options, then Reverse Field Dominance.
